On this week's episode Dr. Garrett takes a break from saving lives to discuss Corey Kluber's finger sprain and Starling Marte's wrist. Andy avoids Stetson Allie yet again this week but instead chooses to talk about moving forward after an awful series against the Car-Go-less Rockies. Then Jason finally contributes to his portion of the podcast by discussing how much value Chris Perez and Asdrubal Cabrera don't have this offseason. Finally, the guys look forward to the upcoming SeaWolves series against Altoona and Akron.

Episode 24 - PED Free

To begin, the title of this episode is a total lie as Jason convinces Andy to discuss PED's and Biogenesis right off the bat. Once that's over, Dr. Garrett navigates through the jungle of ligaments with his medical expertise and razor sharp wit. Jason tells all their is to tell about Cleveland's bullpen woes but sings a happier song about the Cleveland farm system. Finally Andy talks about what could have been and what will be in Pittsburgh after the trade deadline, C. Wolf's Twitter handle and a life-changing experience at Tropicana Field.

Tri-State Wishlist

Join Andy and Jason this week as they get caught up on all the news and notes from the last two weeks of TSM baseball. Of course there is lots of trade talk as Andy is ready to sell the farm for Giancarlo Stanton while Jason predicts a fairly silent deadline for the Tribe. Andy re-counts the Pirates strikeout woes as of late and pines to see Clint Hurdle's trade deadline wishlist while Jason re-counts the demise of Mark Reynolds and his frustration with Asdrubal Cabrera.

Beach Boy Phones It In

This week Dr. Garrett updates everyone from his beach chair during a beautiful sunset at Presque Isle. Meanwhile, Andy and Jason are stuck talking about James McDonald and the Pirates rotation and Asdrubal Cabrera trade rumors. After that, the beach-less duo talk about a howl of a good time at Jerry Uht Park and all the SeaWolves news. They wrap up this week's podcast with spectacular All-Star talk.

Middle Relief Spectacular

This week on Tri-State at the Plate Andy and Jason discuss the awesome Ricky Nolasco trade, then they discuss the spectacular All-Star rosters. Jason tackles Cleveland's bullpen issues while Andy makes his triumphant return to talk about under-appreciated relief pitchers. Finally, Jason climbs up on his soapbox for a good old fashioned rant about trade deadline terminology and selling the farm for one player.

Big Red Spot Start

Tune-in to Tri-State at the Plate this week to hear the return of the Big Red Machine, Bob Finkbeiner, back in the studio to fill-in for Andy who is out on vacation. Jason and Bob talk some serious Tribe this week but they also touch on the Tigers bullpen situation, Nick Castellanos trade rumors and all the medical updates from Dr. Garrett. Also, Andy sends in his Pirates talking points from the beach - now that is dedication.

Stoke the Coles

On this week's episode, find out what Major League Baseball and cougarlife.com have in common.  Dr. Garrett informs everyone of John McDonald's relocation plans.  Andy and Jason swoon over super-prospect Gerrit Cole's first start, which the Tri-State staff attended in Pittsburgh.  There's been a bit of a losing streak going on in Cleveland, and Jason explains why everyone should simmer down.  Also, Stetson Allie hits his 17th home run for West Virginia, which forces Jason to shake his head in disapproval.

Long Relief In the Shark Tank

The guys are all back in the studio this week as they discuss all the news and notes about the Indians, Pirates and SeaWolves. Dr. Garrett is back with all of the medical updates to get you up-to-speed on Chris Perez, Jeanmar Gomez, and others. Andy discusses the recent successes of "The Shark Tank" while detailing the intricacies of the Reds-Pirates rivalry. Then Jason discusses the performance of Ubaldo Jimenez and the rest of the Indians rotation and the Tribe's recent troubles with left-handed relief pitching. Finally, the guys get up on their "Soapbox" to discuss whether long relievers are making a comeback in major league bullpens.
