Andy laments Starling Marte’s tight back, Andrew McCutchen’s sore left foot and Pedro Alvarez’s woeful batting average. Jason discusses the Indians starting rotation, Yan Gomes’ defensive struggles and Carlos Santana’s tremendous on-base percentage. The gang finishes up with a discussion of compound word etiquette and the newest mascot of the Erie SeaWolves, Sir Buck Knight.

This week Dr. Garrett stops by to run down all the injuries for the Tri-State clubs including Jason Kipnis, Jason Grilli, Russell Martin and Wandy Rodriguez. Next, Jason takes all of the Indians struggles and condenses them down to just three problems before Andy dissects the Pirates early season struggles. Finally the guys wade into a debate about whether or not the Pirates should bite the bullet and call up top prospect Gregory Polanco before wrapping up with another SeaWolves shout-out.

This week Andy and Jason discuss Michael Pineda's sticky situation in New York. Then Andy swoons over Gregory Polanco, discusses Starling Marte's struggles as well as Carlos Gomez's etiquette, or lack thereof. Jason congratulates Cleveland on being 11-11 despite their rough start. He highlights their poor play defensively, but not wanting to be a negative Nancy, does some swooning of his own over The Chiz Kid. Finally, the gang wraps up with a SeaWolves shout-out that has yet to hit the ground.

This week Andy and Jason discuss booing Ryan Braun. Then Jason discusses all the contract extensions in Cleveland, Trevor Bauer and his return to the clubhouse and finishes up with all the roster moves at the corner of Carnegie and Ontario. Andy then discusses the Hurdle and Huntington extensions, Edinson Volquez proving Jason wrong and the terrible news that Jameson Taillon will undergo Tommy John surgery. They conclude with a SeaWolves shout-out and salute the "Thunder from Down-Under" Warwick Saupold.

In this annual special edition of Tri-State at the Plate the guys get together to talk prospects. Andy and Staff Writer Chris Bradley tackle the Pirates system and they dig deep to go beyond the usual mention of Jameson Taillon and Gregory Polanco to discuss guys like Reese McGuire, Alen Hanson, Gift Ngoepe and Wyatt Mathisen as well as some of Andy's personal favorites like Adalberto Santos and Stetson Allie. Jason tackles the Indians system and after a group discussion on Francisco Lindor and Clint Frazier he digs into the Tribe's system to discuss guys like Francisco Mejia, Dace Kime, Cody Anderson, Kyle Crockett and even Silento Sayles.
