Alex Rodriguez Goes to Night Court

This week Andy and Jason talk about becoming best friends with Clayton Kershaw after he signs his $215 million contract. Jason then waxes poetic about the addition of Jeff Francoeur and Nyjer Morgan. Then Andy talks about the gaping hole at first base and voluntary workouts. Finally, the gang wraps things up by standing on their soapbox and discussing Alex Rodgriguez and PEDs (as well as Night Court, featuring Harry Andrerson, and The Lincoln Lawyer, starring Matthew McConaughey).

Pearls of Wisdom with Jeff Pearlman

This week Andy interviews New York Times best-selling author, and former Sports Illustrated writer Jeff Pearlman. Andy and Jeff spend time discussing Jeff's book "Love Me, Hate Me" that chronicled the career of Barry Bonds, including his time as a Pittsburgh Pirate. They also discuss the impact of PED's on the game, John Rocker, and one of the true "good guys" of the game, TSM favorite, Sal Fasano.

I Choo Choo Choose You

This week the gang is back together! Andy, Bob and Jason talk about Shin-Shoo Choo's spurning of the New York Yankees $140 million contract offer. Jason, the disciple of Scott Boras, agrees that Choo should have turned the offer down. Then the gang introduces new staff writer Chris Bradley. Next they discuss Edinson Volquez and Charlie Morton at-length, before turning their attention to Cleveland and Trevor Bauer's mechanics.

This week Jason and Andy talk about Aroldis Chapman in the Reds bullpen and then Andy discusses the Pittsburgh Pirates recent trades, potential trades and free agent signings. There is no talk of Stetson Allie. Jason analyzes Carlos Santana (the third baseman), the possibility of an Ubaldo reunion at the corner of Carnegie and Ontario and Ronny Rodriguez’s trade value. Finally, the gang finishes up with some sizzling Hot Stove discussion.

Trolling the Royals

The NLDS Is Out There

This week Andy and Jason attempt to avoid a topical discussion only to get embroiled in a topical discussion about Mat Latos' wife. Andy talks entirely too long about people's perceptions of Jeff Locke, whilst peppering in commentary about the horrendous start to the NLDS. Jason tries to start on a positive note, reflecting on Cleveland's accomplishments this year but quickly succumbs to ragging on Asdrubal Cabrera. Things wrap up with another "Next Level" conspiracy from Jason regarding Jason Kipnis.

2013 Wild Card Spectacular

It's time for the playoff push at Tri-State of Mind Baseball.
