On this week's episode Jason and Andy discuss Chris Davis' continued slide into obscurity after he hits his 50th home run of the season. This week's podcast is the most intimate and sensual episode of the year as Jason and Andy talk about all things Indians and Pirates.  Jason leads off with 80 grade analysis of the Cleveland lineup before transitioning into talk of Jason Kubel's surprising productivity, Danny Salazar's ever-growing pitch count and Cleveland's cake walk to end the season.  Andy lays down a bunt single with his first ever Justin Morneau joke, discussion of two decades of losing, Great Value Khris Davis, and Liriano's command.  The gang wraps up with talk of the SeaWolves playoff series.  It's a howl of a good time.

That Batter In the Window

Join Andy and Jason this week on Tri-State From the Plate as they discuss the going rate for proven hitters in light of the Pirates recent trade for Marlon Byrd and the Indians acquisition of Jason Kubel. Plus Andy talks about the Pirates recent pitching woes, while Jason discusses the Indians pitiful offense in August. Dr. Garrett calls in from Walter Reed Medical Center to fill us in on all the medical news as well as his frustration with the Pirates handling of Starling Marte.

A Big Slice of Felix Pie

Things get a little wild when Jason and Andy discuss instant replay, however, once they get themselves back on track they discuss Danny Salazar's innings limit, Michael Brantley's defense and Nick Swisher's contract. Andy makes amends for ignoring Stetson Allie, asks whether Francisco Liriano should be considered a Cy Young candidate and comes to terms with being comfortably numb with Felix Pie. The dynamic duo finishes up this week's podcast by discussing the Altoona Curve and Akron Aeros coming to Erie to play the SeaWolves.

Thanks For Contributing

On this week's episode Dr. Garrett takes a break from saving lives to discuss Corey Kluber's finger sprain and Starling Marte's wrist. Andy avoids Stetson Allie yet again this week but instead chooses to talk about moving forward after an awful series against the Car-Go-less Rockies. Then Jason finally contributes to his portion of the podcast by discussing how much value Chris Perez and Asdrubal Cabrera don't have this offseason. Finally, the guys look forward to the upcoming SeaWolves series against Altoona and Akron.

To begin, the title of this episode is a total lie as Jason convinces Andy to discuss PED's and Biogenesis right off the bat. Once that's over, Dr. Garrett navigates through the jungle of ligaments with his medical expertise and razor sharp wit. Jason tells all their is to tell about Cleveland's bullpen woes but sings a happier song about the Cleveland farm system. Finally Andy talks about what could have been and what will be in Pittsburgh after the trade deadline, C. Wolf's Twitter handle and a life-changing experience at Tropicana Field.

Tri-State Wishlist

Join Andy and Jason this week as they get caught up on all the news and notes from the last two weeks of TSM baseball. Of course there is lots of trade talk as Andy is ready to sell the farm for Giancarlo Stanton while Jason predicts a fairly silent deadline for the Tribe. Andy re-counts the Pirates strikeout woes as of late and pines to see Clint Hurdle's trade deadline wishlist while Jason re-counts the demise of Mark Reynolds and his frustration with Asdrubal Cabrera.

Plus, the guys dissect the Pirates playoff chances with and without Wandy Rodriguez and A.J. Burnett as well the Bucs puzzling offense. Then the talk turns to the Tribe as Bob and Jason hit on the success of Jason Kipnis, the future of Ubaldo Jimenez and Lonnie Chisenhall and touch on Scott Kazmir's strange injury shortened outing against the Orioles.
